Since season 1 of this anime had experienced a delayed release, will a potential season 2 experience the same fate? Let's find out.
It’s hard to find quality original anime these days and Vampire in the Garden has slowly climbed up the ranks to become one of the best original anime available on Netflix for streaming. Created by Wit Studio, this dark fantasy anime has captured the attention of the otaku community with an interesting portrayal of vampires, and needless to say, most anime lovers have binged through it. Now, the real question is, when can we expect season 2 of Vampire in the Garden to air? Here are all the details about a potential new season we know so far.
Unfortunately, there is no news for the second season of Vampire in the Garden. Since there were no unresolved questions in the first season and the story wrapped up decently, the chances of a second season happening is extremely slim. Vampire in the Garden can be seen more like a limited series with only 5 episodes and as of now Wit Studio or Netflix has not chosen to disclose anything about a potential renewal of the show.
This is a dark fantasy anime with elements of horror in it, and it narrates the tale of a war between vampires and humanity after which the humans retreat behind a city guarded by a wall of light. The young human protagonist named Momo has a chance encounter with the vampire queen named Fine, and together they set off on a journey to find peace and harmony between their kinds. However, their journey is marked with hurdles and hardships as both Fine, and Momo are targetted by their own races, and together they must reach their fabled destination where vampires and humans supposedly coexist.
Protagonists Momo and Fine are voiced by Megumi Han and Yu Kobayashi, respectively, whereas secondary characters like Allegro and Kubo are voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi and Hiroki Tochi. Momo’s mother and general of the human army, Nobara, is voiced by Rika Fukami. The first season of this anime is directed by Ryoutarou Makihara and Hiroyuki Tanaka.
In case we ever get to see a renewal of Vampire in the Garden, the second season might show us the land of Paradise, where vampires and humans coexisted in harmony. Once the protagonists reach the fabled land, there won't be much left for the show to explore, and it's highly unlikely the anime will stretch any further. However, by the end of the first season, we saw Fine dying while trying to save Momo, and her mother, Nobara, failed to bring her back to Central. Now the real question is, can Fine be resurrected, or will Momo gain a new friend and ally in a new character? I guess we have to hope for a second season to find out.
