‘Trinity Seven’ Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

Animes can be stupendous in themes, genres, plots, visuals, and music. Fans love anime for all these reasons; therefore, they are obsessed with most of them. One such anime is ‘Trinity Seven,’ which is called Toriniti Sebun: Shichi-nin no Masho Tsukai in Japanese. It is a Japanese manga series written by Kenji Saito and art by Akanari Nao. In 2014, it was adapted into a light novel by the same writer and artist, and soon it was adapted into an anime of 12 episodes by Seven Arcs Pictures that premiered from October 8, 2014, to December 24, 2014. The manga series was published four years before, on December 9, 2010. Even though season 1 was released along with an original animation (OVA) special episode and two movies, fans are desperately waiting for the second installment of ‘Trinity Seven.’ Here is everything we know so far about the renewal.

When Will ‘Trinity Seven’ Season 2 Be Released?

Trinity Season 2 has yet to be confirmed. Unverified sources claimed that the second season would premiere in 2019 but that date is long gone. Speculations say that Season 2 will be released in 2024.

The first season premiered on October 8, 2014, and two movies based on the show were also released on February 25, 2017, and March 29, 2019, respectively. Naturally, it kind of raised fans’ hope for the second season, and soon, in early 2019, it was reported by unverified sources that the second installment was definitely happening and would be premiering on April 11, 2019. However, the release date has passed, and the second season hasn’t premiered yet. The reason is unknown to the world, but all firmly believe that the second installment will come out sometime in 2024. But nothing has been confirmed yet. We will keep an eye out for any new information and update this space immediately.

What Could Be The Reason Behind Its Delay Of Trinity Seven Season 2?

There can be several reasons why the second installment is taking a long time to come out. One could be the fact that the source material that the producers would have found must have been insufficient to conceive the second season. They might not have found the source material adequate to pull out a season with 24-25 episodes. Another reason that could possibly delay the second installment is the fact that the released the movies Trinity Seven: Heavens Library and Crimson Lord on March 29, 2019. Releasing the second installment of the series too soon after might overshadow and take away the attention from the movies. The pandemic could have also been a factor.

The good news is that new volumes of the manga are consistently being released. The latest volume was released on May 9th, 2023.

What Is ‘Trinity Seven’ All About?

The show revolves around a normal high school boy named Arata Kasuga. He freaks out when he learns that the world he is dwelling in is an illusion and is destroyed by the breakdown phenomenon. His cousin Hijiri Kasuga and his friends drove to another dimension of the world when the real world was going through destruction. Arata now wants to save his real and old world and bring back his sister.

The name ‘Trinity Seven’ means that the team has seven members  Mira Yamana, Arin Kannazuki, Lilith Asami, Levi Kazana, Yuti Kurata, Akio Fudo, and Lieselotte Sherlock. The seven members are seven girls who signify seven sins, with Lilith standing for Lust, Airn standing for Anger, and other girls taking on roles like a Head of Grimoire Security, and so on. Arata was asked to choose one option out of two by Lilith- either hand over the magical book to her or die. However, Arata chose none and instead picked the third option: enroll in a top-secret magic school named Royal Biblia Academy, where other magical students were waiting for his arrival. Arata trains himself to become a disciplined magician with expertise in using magic and mastering many powers that will help him prevent destruction and bring back his loved ones.
