Tom may be playing the role of the devil, but he hails from a religious family. Both his sister and his father are Baptist pastors.
Don't worry because his father has no problem with him playing Lucifer in the highly-acclaimed Netflix show. He tells Square Mile:
“My dad was cool with it. I don’t think my dad watches the show, I was going to say ‘religiously’…”
He explained, “I don’t think my dad is an avid viewer of my show. But that’s not because it’s about the Devil; it’s just not his cup of tea. He’d rather watch reruns of Inspector Morse.”
Aside from his impressive acting performance, fans loved Tom's musical scenes in 'Lucifer'. One of the most anticipated parts of 'Lucifer' season 5 part 2 is the musical episode. The musical episode begins with Tom performing “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak. To be clear, he is not playing the piano, but yes, that is his real singing voice!

Tom struggled when he started to portray Lucifer's twin Michael in the fifth season of the hit Netflix series.
"I played Lucifer for such a long time, it's just like, flicking a switch now, almost." the actor said during a live Q&A at StageIt.com (via CBR) adding, "And Michael wasn't. So I really had to think about that. And so that was the challenge.
"I had to sort of get through the initial kind of feelings of 'God, I feel like a massive fraud' and really trust in the choices that I'd made and just go for it. So yeah, it was a bit of a challenge, but ultimately, one that I relished." He did note, however, that it's a challenge he doesn't plan to "rush too quickly to do again."
Tom is born on November 17, 1978, in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall (191 cm). His current net worth is approx $5 million.
