The show's first part has been extremely popular leaving fans wondering about the sequels and how far the work has come. Here is everything we know.
Most of us go gooey over romantic movies and series no matter whatever age we are in, and Netflix is that one comfortable space where we can find a variety of them. It hasn't been that long ever since 'To All The Boys I've Ever Loved Before' made fans crazy about the romantic connection between Lara Jean and Peter! The series was a big success the moment it came on Netflix, leaving fans wanting to see more of the lovebirds. The success of the show led Netflix to make a sequel which is a part of their new production deal with Paramount and started filming in late March 2019 with a new title called 'To All the Boys: PS I Still Love You'. Soon, fans were blessed with the news that confirmed about the second season of TATBIHEL and it is still today that they have been waiting for more information to come regarding the second installment. Here is everything we know about the most talked about and awaited sequel of all time, 'To All The Boys I've Ever Loved Before' season 2.
Finally, we have a date for its release, and going with what has been confirmed by Netflix, 'To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You' will be hitting Netflix on February 12, 2020. Fans will be elated to know that not only there will be the second installment of the show, but a third movie titled 'To All The Boys: Always And Forever' is also in the making as Lara Jean has started filming in August 2019.
The first film showed Lara Jean's character petrified after finding out that her private and secret letters to past and present crushes have been sent. Eventually, she finds herself stuck between a complication, and for the solution, she takes help from Peter Kavinsky, who suggests that they should pretend to date. In this plan, both Peter and Lara have their own personal interest, as Peter wants to make his ex-girlfriend jealous, whereas Lara wants to convince her present crush that she doesn't like him anymore. But, how can things work out based on the relationship which is fake? Soon, their pretense turned into something real, and both eventually fell in love with each other.
The last moment from the first part that we remember is seeing Lara and Peter finally having a sweet kiss on their school's football field. Even though the storyline of the second part is not revealed yet, we do have an idea that during the credits of the original film when letter recipient John Ambrose McLaren, who happens to be Lara Jean's former Model UN crush, ends up popping at her door with a bouquet of flowers and reveals that he has feelings for her too.
Of course, there is no doubt about seeing Noah Centineo and Lara Jean's love triangle. John Corbett, Janel Parrish, and Anna Cathcart are making their comeback to play the role of Lara Jean's dad and sisters, and Madeleine Arthur is revealing Lara jean's best friend, Christine. Also, best known for acting as Jacob on 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager', Fisher is a triple-threat: he released a self-titled album in 2016 and appeared on Dancing with the Stars and in Hamilton on Broadway. There are some new additions to the cast as well, that includes, Emmy award-winner Holland Taylor (Two and a Half Men, The Practice, Legally Blonde) as John’s grandmother Stormy, Ross Butler (13 Reasons Why, Riverdale) as Peter’s best friend and Sarayu Rao (Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men) as the Coveys’ neighbour Trina Rothschild. Behind the screen, we have Susan Johnson announcing that she will not be directing the second film as she has other plans. Rather we will have Michael Fimognari, who is the photography on the first film.
We do not really have a tailer, but we surely have a teaser that will show you enough to keep guessing and keep your excitement level very happy.
