Dacre Montgomery and Maya Hawke reveal what is down the road for them in terms of the series and also reveal their salary.
The third season of Stranger Things released just a week ago and has already been watched and loved by millions of people. Netflix estimated that over 40 million households had tuned in at some point over the weekend and around 18.2 million people binged all the eight episodes in just one day.
The show created by the Duffer Brothers has genuinely created a cult following and with Game of Thrones recently ending, Stranger Things might very well be the biggest television show on the planet right now. From the very beginning, since the series started airing on Netflix back in 2016, the showrunners have been slowly expanding the scope of the story.
It was clear from Season 3 that Stranger Things is being made with a much higher budget with the CGI and the set pieces being made in a wonderful manner so that they don't look too out of place in a Hollywood blockbuster. This did not come as a surprise after the massive amount of revenue it had generated.
Along with the increasing production values, the series is comfortably providing and rewarding the cast in a very handsome manner. Millie Bobby Brown is being paid $350,000 which is the same as her adult co-stars Winona Ryder and David Harbour. The other six young actors, namely, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Noah Schnapp are earning $220,000 each per episode. All the six actors got a massive raise as they were being paid $30,000 during the first two seasons.
Even the very recent additions like Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery are taking home $150,000 each per episode. These nine relatively inexperienced actors, aged between 14 and 25 are now earning between $1.2 million and $2.8 million for eight episodes and the series is one of the most talked-about television shows in the world and the amount of money they have earned is surely astounding.
