The Spider-Man: No Way Home film was released in theatres on December 13. Despite the pandemic, the film is having a successful run and has already become the biggest film this year, earning more than $1.1 billion worldwide. The film has received positive reviews all around and the multiverse narrative has now quite literally opened up a window of opportunity for multiple MCU crossovers. Amy Pascal, Spider-Man producer has already confirmed that there will at least be three more Spider-Man movies and with how the events stand at the end of No Way Home, there is an immense potential for what is to come.

The worst kept secret by MCU (spoilers ahead!) was the involvement of the two former Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. They appeared in the movie as Spider-Men from other universes much to the delight of fans. As per an article by Forbes, there is a possibility that we have seen the last of Garfield. After the release of No Way Home, there has been an Andrew Garfield renaissance online that has further exploded following his performance in Netflix's film Tick Tick...Boom! Fans would love to see more of him, especially as Spider-Man. And what's more, he has expressed he wants to return as Spider-Man as well while Tom Holland has expressed his desire to step down.

We learned from the post-credits scene that Venom has entered the MCU world in what can only be a set-up for a future showdown with Spider-Man. And with the multiverse bringing in Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, and Rhys Ifans' Lizard as well, in addition to Tom Hardy's Venom, Jared Leto’s Morbius, Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman, Foxx’s Electro, Paul Giamatti’s Rhino, there is a high possibility of a Sinister Six in the works. And Garfield may just be the Spider-Man to take them on.

The Spider-Man-Venom crossover has more or less been confirmed even as Pascal has mentioned in an interview, "I think anything is possible and I think Kevin and I want to keep making Spider-Man movies together as long as we can." Without saying too much, every possibility has been confirmed without giving too much away. Garfield's Spider-Man made a great comeback with No Way Home and with this potential crossover of villains, we may be looking at a Sinister Six film to come soon. The Sinister Six are the group of supervillains appearing in Spider-Man comic books and include many of the supervillains that have already made an appearance in the latest Spider-Man film.

This will be the best of all worlds as Sony, Marvel, Garfield, and the fans are in for a multiverse of fun.
