Vera Farmiga sounds and looks really excited for the shoots as she shared the photographs from the set.
When 'The Conjuring' came out in 2013, it became one of the best horror movies of modern times. Since then, the movie has gone forward to spawn an entire horror movie universe franchise and the fans are extremely excited for the next two installments; which are 'Annabelle Comes Home' and 'Conjuring 3' which will be releasing in 2020. Both these movies are a third of their respective franchises and will also see the return of Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Farmiga took it to social media to let the fans know that she and Patrick Wilson are back on set and ready to shoot The Conjuring 3. She wrote, "Happy first-day #Conjuring3, Mr. Warren, my PWilz, 🖤🖤🖤@patrickwilson73 @michaelchaves @creepypuppet @newlinecinema @wbpictures @EleanorMakeup @TheConjuring". Both the actors have forged a nice, friendly relationship while working together for the movies Conjuring 1 and 2 that were directed by James Wan.
Wan won't be coming back on the director's chair for the third movie and that task has fallen on director Michael Chaves and he is best known for directing this year's Latin-culture spinoff of the Conjuring franchise, 'The Curse of La Llorona.'
Can’t wait for another amazing film. I know you two will honor Ed and Lorraine, now more than ever.— ً (@underrtheskinn) June 3, 2019
The plot of the movie is still being kept under the wraps, but James Wan did reveal the following during an interview with Bloody Disgusting last year. "It's this guy who was on trial for committing a murder. I think it's the first time in America's history where the defendant used possessions as a reason, as an excuse."
YES!! I’m so excited for this movie. You two are the BEST!— Noel Carter (@noelnotnoelle) June 3, 2019
This comment led people to believe it can be either of the two. The first one is a book that the Warrens wrote about a man named Bill Ramsey in Southend, England, and he believed that he was possessed by a demon that looked like a werewolf. The second one being the case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, who killed his landlord and said that he did it because he was possessed by the same demons the Warrens wrote about in their book. Either one, it's surely going to be a scare.
