The Seven Deadly Sins season 4 landed on Netflix in August 2020 but fans are already asking for more.
Despite getting wildly disappointed in season 4's animation, the anime fans are still keen on seeing more from the popular series.
Can they expect to see season 5 soon? Will it have better animations? Let's find out.
Fans should be delighted to know that Seven Deadly Sins will continue to season 5 and will also be available on Netflix in 2021!
To avoid confusion, we're calling it season 5 based on how Netflix has formatted the Original. We are aware that season 2 was composed of OVA episodes.
The streaming giant has bought the exclusive English streaming rights for the anime series, and there are still plenty of source materials left for a follow-up season.

The manga series currently has a total of 346 chapters and season 4 of the animated adaptation covered until chapter 267 of the manga.
This means we have 79 chapters left as source material for season 5.
As mentioned, season 5 will mostly cover the remaining 79 chapters of the manga series.
There are still a lot of stories to unwrap for season 5.
A second holy war is brewing as the Goddess Clan, Fairy Clan, Giant Clan, and the humans joined forces to bring down the Demon Clan.
Estarossa of the Demon Clan kidnapped princess Elizabeth, and it's now up to the new allied forces to rescue her.
We're also expecting a huge revelation about Love commandment's past.
Meanwhile, Ban is determined to find the real Melodias in purgatory to bring him home to Britannia. The two of them are the only members of the Seven Deadly Sins who can survive the purgatory.
However, time runs differently in purgatory. How long will it take before Ban finally finds the real Melodias fans all once loved?
Plus, there's the giant egg containing the body of Melodias waiting to hatch. If that happens, a stronger, more sinister Melodias will wake up and will be on his way to becoming the new Demon King of the Demon Clan.
Will they be able to stop it?
On November 11, it was officially announced that The Seven Deadly Sins season 5 will return to Netflix late 2021.
The hit series was originally announced to release in October 2020 in Japan but was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Seven Deadly Sins season 5 , episode 1 premiered in Japan January 13, 2021 and fans are already watching dubbed versions via Youtube.
The official season 5 full English version will take a little longer before landing on Netflix. We're guessing at least August just like season 4, but we could be waiting until Winter 2021/2022. Season 4 arrived on Netflix on August 6, 2020, and is now available for streaming.

Fans have found a significant difference in season 4's animation compared to the previous installments. This is because the animation has switched from A-1 Pictures to Studio Deen.
Studio Deen outsources their animation to a South-Korean animation studio, Marvy Jack. The result received a significant backlash from the anime community.
It is confirmed in Whats on Netflix that Studio Deen will be handling the full production for season 5 but with the manga coming to an end, it may be the finale of the series. Will they close the series with a bang? Or could there be room for a sixth series?
Season four covered roughly 31 chapters of the manga. This means that the remaining 79 chapters of the series can still be extended up to season 6 should the producers decide so.
And if that's not enough, there is an upcoming sequel manga being planned titled The Seven Deadly Sins: The Four Knights of the Apocalypse (Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yon-Kishi) which could also be great source material for future adaptations. The Seven Deadly Sins: The Four Knights of the Apocalypse will feature Holy Knight Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Queen Elizabeth.
Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese fantasy series based on a popular manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki.
The Seven Deadly Sins are a group of knights in the land of Britannia. Ten years earlier, the group has disbanded after being framed for plotting a coup of the Liones Kingdom.
Fast forward, Liones' third princess, Elizabeth Liones embarked on a journey to find the members of the Seven Deadly Sins, and ask their help to free their kingdom from the Holy Knights. In the middle of all the chaos, Meliodas (the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins) is revealed to be the Demon King's cursed son.
