According to reports, there will be a new showrunner for The Perfect Couple Season 2. Joanna Calo, co-showrunner of The Bear, has been assigned to write and showrun the upcoming chapter, according to Deadline. Season 1 was showrun by Jenna Lamia.
Kidman, Susanne Bier, Gail Berman, Shawn Levy, Per Saari, and Hend Baghdady are among the executive producers of Season 1 who will be returning, according to Deadline.
The Perfect Couple Season 2 will have a whole new cast. Leslee and Bill Richardson, the protagonists of Hilderbrand’s Swan Song, are described by Deadline as “spiritual successors to Season 1’s Greer and Tag Winbury.” Ed Kapenash, the Nantucket police chief who is compelled to delay his retirement and take on the case after the Richardsons’ house burns down, will also have to play a significant role in the drama.
