What Is The Plot Of 'The Night House'?

Beth is a newly widowed wife who begins digging into her husband's secret following his untimely death. Owen took his life while in a rowboat late one night while out on the lake near the couple's house. Owen left a mysterious note that says she is safe now. Confused, Beth starts going through her late husband's belongings to find answers. But instead, what she finds are more unsettling questions. During her investigation, Beth found pictures of a woman who seemingly looked like her. Furthermore, she discovered that her husband had built a house exactly like theirs, but backward. When she enters the mysterious house, she saw what seems to be an alternate version of herself. Soon Beth finds herself hanging by a thread as she starts questioning her reality.

The trailer has given away the premise, but something tells us that some deeper and darker twists are waiting for us in the end.

Who is the other woman who looks exactly like her? What is with the reverse house? Why did her husband take his life? And most importantly, is what Beth is seeing real or just hallucinations? We will have to watch the film to find out.
