The Night Agent Season 3: Everything We Know So Far

The Night Agent series has become one of the most viewed shows on Netflix, and for a good reason. But now with season 2 done and dusted, can we expect a third season? Let’s explore.

Will The Night Agent Return For Season 3?

The popular spy show, The Night Agent, has been officially renewed for Season 3, after being renewed before Season 2.

“We’re so excited to bring new thrills, new worlds, new stunts, new characters, and new adventures to our fans in Season 3,” series creator, executive producer, and showrunner Shawn Ryan tells Tudum. “We’ll be spanning the globe from Istanbul to New York to Washington, DC to Mexico City and even though we just started filming, we’ve already captured some of our biggest, most spectacular stuff yet. Thanks so much for devouring Season 2 and we look forward to bringing you a bigger and even better Season 3.”

Who Will Be In The Cast Of The Night Agent Season 3?

The Night Agent is still led by Gabriel Basso in Season 3. Albert Jones, Ward Horton, and Fola Evans-Akingbola, who were promoted to series regulars, join him.

The previously revealed Season 3 cast consists of:

Lyons, David
Morrison, Jennifer
Moyer, Stephen
Rodriguez, Genesis
Vinson, Callum
Suraj Sharma in an ongoing part.

What Could Happen In The Night Agent Season 3?

In season three, Peter will confront his largest conspiracy to date: a corrupt and possibly treasonous president, the former Governor Hagan (Ward Horton). In season two, Peter learned how to be a Night Agent and then attempted to learn more about Project Foxglove, a purportedly closed secret CIA project to develop chemical weapons. After illegally stealing certain United Nations documents, he also got himself a little dirty. Now, he works as a mole for Catherine (Amanda Warren), his Night Action handler, whose villainy he had long questioned. (Fortunately, it appears that Catherine can be trusted—at least for the time being.)

Peter understood that his opponents could always use cybersecurity expert Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) to reach him, so even though they successfully thwarted a bio-terror attack together, their romance had to cease. “That’s something an unselfish person who really cares about Rose would say,” Ryan stated to Tudum. This gives it a tragic, almost ‘Romeo and Juliet’ feel. “I love you too much to be with you”—that sacrifice should be respected.”

It appears that Rose and Noor (Arienne Mandi), who is now employed at a library instead of the United Nations as an ambassador, will not be returning for season 3. Rose and Noor should be able to look after each other.

When Will The Night Agent Season 3 Be Released?

The Night Agent Season 3 began filming in Istanbul in 2024 and is expected to be released on Netflix in 2026. But an exact release date has yet to be announced.
