Adapted from the children’s books written by Trenton Lee Stewart, The Mysterious Benedict Society has been a delightful watch for lovers of mystery and adventure. In order to combat a global emergency, the titular Mr. Benedict rounds up four kids to help him in the mission. Will There Be The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 3?

The Mysterious Benedict Society has unfortunately been canceled and won’t be returning for a third season.
Co-creator/executive producer Phil Hay revealed the news on Twitter.
“Dear friends- season 2 will mark the end of The Mysterious Benedict Society’s journey on Disney+. We love everyone who helped make this truly special and indeed life-affirming experience happen. No regrets- so proud of what we made!” Hay wrote. “The beauty of streaming is that the show lives on Disney+ and you can find it whenever you want to visit. Spoiler alert for how the story ends: the kids stay friends forever.”
What Is The Plot Of The Mysterious Benedict Society?
This is the story of four gifted orphans, Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance, who are taken under the wings of the peculiar Mr. Benedict, who is planning to thwart the attempts of his twin brother and save the world from impending doom. But when Mr. Benedict and Number Two are kidnapped, the kids must put their brains together and go on a round-the-world adventure to rescue them. Will this found family of misfits work together successfully to grow as individuals and discover their own happiness in this process?
Who Is In The Cast And Crew Of The Mysterious Benedict Society?
Tony Hale essays the dual role of Mr. Nicholas Benedict and Dr. L.D. Curtain/Nathaniel Benedict, who is Benedict’s long-lost twin brother. The children recruited by the protagonist are played by Seth Carr, Emmy DeOliveira, Marta Kessler, and Mystic Inscho as George “Sticky” Washington, Kate Wetherall, Constance Contraire, and Reynard “Reynie” Muldoon, respectively. This show was created by Phil Hay & Matt Manfredi and is distributed by Disney+.
What Can We Expect To See In The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 3?
The third season has been canceled but if there was going to be a third season we could have expected to pick up more from the show’s source material. Based on the plot of the children’s book, fans of this show can expect to see Dr. Curtain and his assistant joining the mysterious society in order to get his redemption and the orphans going their separate ways to enjoy their own lives and forge their own identities.
