The blue devils then poked me forward, pushing me into the cell and towards Sara who remained sitting on the floor.
“A hug?” I said.
Sara looked at me reluctant to get up. “For a moment I thought you was coming to rescue me.”
I looked back at the blue devils who were standing with their pitchforks in a defensive position then back at Sara. “All I want is a hug.”
“Your hands kind of full,” Sara said pointing my attention to my handcuffed hand.
“Come on. I don’t have whole day.”
Sara scoffed then got up and stood in front of me, watching me dead in the eye.
I got closer to her hoping that she would have put her hands around me but she just stood there. It would have been an awkward situation if I really wanted a hug. I didn’t. Well, not really. I pushed myself on her jamming my body against hers and pushing her against the wall. I could tell that she was putting up a little resistance but just a little.
When I had her jammed against the wall I placed my head on her shoulders and whispered in her ear, “There’s a knife in my right pocket.”
