Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will be back to reprise his role as Mickey Haller. Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson will also return for the upcoming season. Neve Campbell's inclusion in the cast list might take you by surprise as Season 1 ended with her character Maggie Mcpherson packing up her stuff and leaving her job as a criminal prosecutor.

So we are looking forward to seeing how the writers incorporate her character once again in the storyline. Deadline also reported that Lana Parilla will play the recurring role of Lisa Trammell, a long-time associate of Mickey's, who is struggling to keep her restaurant open in a very trying circumstance.

Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, with Mickey going for a surf while being watched from afar by a mysterious man with a tattoo. Some viewers are suspecting that it might be the same man mentioned on the stand by a key witness in Jesus Menendez's case, Glory days. It looks like season 2 will follow the fallout of glory's testimony and reveal who the mysterious man is. We also know that the show's season 2 will be based on Connelly's fourth Mickey Haller novel, The Fifth Witness. The showrunners have decided to leave out the third volume of the book series called The Reversal
