Nickelodeon has just released the first trailer of 'Are You Afraid of the Dark' and it has brought back our favorite midnight society in our screens.
Nickelodeon has just released the latest trailer for the reboot of 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark' and it sees the revival of the classic kids-themed horror anthology for the small screen, with a big-screen version also on the way soon. The horror-themed series first released on Nickelodeon back in the 90s and the plot follows the story of a group of teens in the woods, gathered around a campfire, telling the most wicked and horrifying tales they can imagine. These ghost stories will return to TV soon in a new limited series event.
The big-screen version of this series was announced around the same time as a new TV show, but the release date has been pulled as Guillermo Del Toro's Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is set to hit the theaters, and both the anthologies are similar enough to confuse people, hence this one moved. Things were complicated even further after Guillermo Del Toro announced that he's working on his own horror anthology for Netflix called 10 After Midnight, with all three properties having very similar titles and themes.

Even though the series is a short one, only lasting for 15 seconds, it still manages to be scary. In a matter of just 15 seconds, we see some of the terrifying creatures and ghouls that will be making an appearance as the Midnight Society regroups for the first time in decades.
The cast of the series consists of Jeremy Taylor, Sam Ashe Arnold, Tamara Smart, Lyliana Wray, and Miya Cech are The Midnight Society. The role of the ringmaster will be played by Rafael Casal. Even though the old series said one new story every episode, this new miniseries will tell the tale of The Carnival of Doom over the course of three episodes.
