With tech-savvy Dalton Monkhouse who is trying to restart the planet, there were more than a few hurdles that he had to face, beginning with the whipsmart group of school kids ready to stop his mission. Renewal Status: Likely Ghost Canceled
Like many other shows, The Last Bus season two has yet to receive a confirmation from the streamer. As the show has received mixed reviews it's right now leaning towards cancelation but of course, we can't say for sure. But the good news is that they didn't really conclude the plot and why would you want to stop at a cliffhanger like that? Our speculation based on the way past shows were treated by Netflix, The Last Bus has been ghost-canceled. We will update this space as new details come in.
We saw in season one that a number of stories unraveled which can be used to continue the story for season two. After finding Dalton, the bus discovered that the families had not been killed off as they had thought. They were, however, "harvested" and placed somewhere. So now it is the kids' responsibility to go and find them and bring them back to normal. Lucy, who is Dalton's love child, has also got a bone to pick with her father and also plans on using his tech to choose who goes back to the status. She has now decided to find the crew.
In the whole master plan of Lucy, she wants to play God and wants to decide who returns and who doesn't. The storyline of the next season is not yet unveiled, so we can only make guesses as of now. Lucy might perhaps find a way to obtain the Nexus key, but that's all a very wild guess; anything could happen, really!
The cast members are Lara McDonnell in the role of Lucy Monkhouse, Moosa Mostafa will once again return as Nasir Roman, Daniel Frogson as Tom Little, Tom Basden as Mr. Short, Lauryn Ajufo as Misha Morris, Nathanael Saleh as Joshua Collins, Curtis Kantsa as Danny Adeyemi, Marlie Morrell as Chelsea, and Robert Sheehan as Dalton Monkhouse.
