'The Heirs,' also known as The Inheritors, is the first South Korean drama produced by the American digital platform, DramaFever, written by Kim Eun-sook. This Korean Show received a tremendous response not only in Korea but also across Asia. Like, Japan and China. Each episode had the highest selling price in Japan and, in China, it witnessed massive popularity, which accumulated 1 billion views on the Yoku Network. Now the fans want to continue the show with 'The Heirs' Season 2. They're excited and hoping for season 2. Here's what we know.
'The Heirs' season 1 premiered on October 9, 2013, in Korea on SBS. The first season ended with the 20th episode. And by its massive popularity, the show was released across 13 countries around the world. According to rumors, season 2 of 'The Heirs' might happen for sure as the lead stars Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-Hye reunite to reprise their original roles. Again, these are only rumors. Since its release, fans have demanded the renewal of season 2, and they are eagerly waiting for the couple's chemistry once again. They have filled online platforms with demands even more on Facebook pages to make a season 2 happen.
According to sources, Lee Min-Ho said that after his military enlistment service was over, he would return to entertainment. He said that he would be part of a "big project." By now, nothing is official yet, since we had the COVID-19 pandemic. We will update this section once we get more information about 'The Heirs' Season 2.
Season 1 had an immense following worldwide. Since it is a drama series with many backstories, the first season got universal appeal. The cast and crew did a remarkable job as well.
The Teenage Kdrama revolves around the lives of wealthy students in Jeguk High Schools as they plan to take over their family's business. During the process, they need to overcome obstacles, challenges and grow up. The story centers around the main characters Cha Eun Sang, Kim Tan, and Choi Yeong Do.
Kim Tan is a thriving heir of the Jeguk Group. But his mother is a mistress and, he is believed to be the illegitimate son of the house. His mother's identity is kept unrevealed from the public. His older brother, Kim Won, wants to take control of the business and deports him to the US. He meets Cha Eun-sang there, who went to the US to look for her sister. Her sister is lying to her family and is not living a normal life there. Cha Eun Sang is his housekeeper's daughter.
Kim Tan fell for Cha Eun Sang. When he comes back to Korea, Choi Young-do, another wealthy guy, and his former's best friend start picking on Eun-sang to provoke Tan. They form a love triangle.
Cha Eun Sang experiences many obstacles after Kim Tan's rich family discovers her relationship with Kim Tan. They overcome their problems together and set off to a happy end.

Lee Min-Ho as Kim Tan ('Boys Over Flowers'). He is the heir of the Jeguk group and the son of his dad's mistress. He stays away from his family and leaves for the US, then comes back a while later. However, though he lives a complicated life, he still got everything that anyone could dream of and is jealous of, money, height, looks. He looks perfect.
Park Shin- Hye as Eun-Sang ('Memorie of Alhambra'). She is a very and understandable and charming girl from a non-wealthy family. She helps her mother by taking up many part-time jobs and resides in the Kim Tan estate. Where her mother works as a housekeeper. She studies in Jeguk High school, with the help of a welfare scholarship,
