As of this writing, Square Enix, Studio Silver Link, or any company related to the production of the anime has not announced or officially renewed 'The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!' for season 2. The anime's first season ended on December 22nd, 2021, which was over a year and a half ago. So we can get news of the show's renewal any second now. Studio Silver Link is known for releasing sequels for their animes in the past. Hence, there is a big chance that 'The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!' will also return for more. Jahy is a Demon King's aide. She was once respected in the Demon Realm. One day, a magical girl attacks and destroys the mystic gem that contains immense power, consequently bringing down the Demon Realm. Jahy survives the attack, but she loses most of her powers. She finds herself stranded in the human world with a childlike look. Jahy sets on a mission to gather mystic gems so she can bring back both her original form and the Demon Realm. However, she has to adjust to the ways of the humans and deal with mundane problems she has never experienced before. That includes working to pay for living expenses, getting into an argument with her landlord for late rent, and more. If the anime gets renewed for season 2, we expect it to continue chronicling Jahy's struggles in the human world while she tries to work on her goals of reestablishing the Demon Realm.
We expect the main cast to reprise their roles if the anime returns for season 2. Naomi Ōzora will likely return as Jahy, the former ide to the Dark Lord and second-in-command of the Dark Realm, who got stuck in the human world. Joining her will be Kana Hanazawa as Druj, Ai Kayano as Boss, Yōko Hikasa as Landlord, Yui Ogura as Kokoro, Sumire Uesaka as Kyouko Jingu, Mikako Komatsu as Saurva, and Miho Okasaki as Dark Lord.
