Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane has been a father figure to Arya Stark in many ways and after the latest episode of 'Game of Thrones', fans think he should be named The father of the year.
Even though the penultimate episode of 'Game of Thrones' became the lowest-rated episode in the history of 'Game of Thrones' and most of the fans were disappointed with the way it was handled and in general, the entire episode in itself. But one thing that the fans were unequivocally united about is the fact that Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane should win the award of the father of the year award.
The award for father of the year goes to The Hound 💗 https://t.co/rMtyrcNN1m— Fox Sin of Greed 🦊🇬🇩 (@QueenTaige) April 30, 2019
Prior to his inevitable demise in the fifth episode, Clegane acted like a father figure to Arya Stark, where he offered her advice and motivation to the very end. The fans were very quick to notice this and ever since they have been demanding it. Not only did the Hound manage to exact his lifelong revenge on his zombified brother, The Mountain, but he also had a touching moment with Arya Stark where he warned her not to let herself be ruined by her thirst for vengeance.
The hound truly deserves father of the year— small frame kween (@itsTALforshort) May 13, 2019
rip big homie
Prior to this moment, Arya was all prepared to infiltrate the Red Keep in order to kill Cersei, who was one of the prime candidates in her list. But just before doing it, Sandor convinced her to flee and live. Given the fact that Arya barely made it out alive from King's Landing after Daenerys torched the entire city, there is a good chance she would have died if she decided to stick around.
In order to give The Hound the fitting tribute he deserves, the fans took it to Twitter to show their love and respect for The Hound. One person wrote, "Sandor Clegane has to be the father of the year my respect, The Hound." A second one added, "The Hound gets the award for father of the year. And that’s not even her dad." Another person quipped, "The hound father of the year."
