The fourth and final installment of the action-adventure franchise is here! Directed by stunt performer-turned-filmmaker, Scott Waugh, The Expendables is based on an original story by Spenser Cohen who is also one of the scriptwriters along with Max Adams and John Joeseph Connolly. Throughout the trilogy, we have seen, Sylvester Stallone lead a rugged group of individuals through a series of catastrophic missions! Together they have stopped other mercenaries and sometimes in the process have stumbled upon former colleagues. Here is everything we know about the action-packed adventure movie!

The movie will see the return of none other than Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture. Joining them will be Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Thai Martial arts legend Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, and Megan Fox as the female lead, along with Andy Garcia, Eddie Hall, Shiela Shah, Jacob Scipio, and Levy Tran.
Because of the poor performance at the box office of The Expendables 3, the future of the series was left in doubt, and promotion was stalled over and over again. In the year 2016, Sylvester Stallone announced the fourth installment of the series and set a tentative date of release for 2018. By March 2017, Stallone left the project because of some creative differences in the script. In January 2018, Stallone returned to the project after vocal support from other cast members. By August 2020, things started to look better, with official filming commencing in September. On 3rd December 2021, Tony Jaa confirmed that the filming had been wrapped.
The Expendables began in 2010 by introducing Barney Ross, Lee Christmas, gunner Jensen and Toll Road, among others, as a team of elite mercenaries who sign all kinds of contracts from government agencies around the world, including assassinations, rescue ops, and more. There is no official information or synopsis released as of now. However, the premise from Wikipedia reads,
The film depicts a nuclear conflict between Russia and the United States that The Expendables are drawn into.
