Based on Kuxuan's Chinese novel series of the same title, the donghua tells the story of an immortal king trying hard to downplay his true powers while attending a magic school. In season 1 Wang tried to live a normal life as a high school student. The third season is likely to see Wang once again struggling to live his life as a normal being despite being a powerful Immortal Wizard. Fans are expecting to see a solid love angle in The Daily Life Of The Immortal King Season 3.

The anime series premiered in January 2020 and concluded on March 20, 2021, after 15 episodes. It arrived on Netflix on June 30, 2021. Although there is no official release date there is a high chance that fans will get to see the third season by this year itself. Studio Haoliners Animation League is a big name in the Chinese anime market so it seems they will try and wrap up the project for the third edition as soon as possible. It is safe to say that the Studio is mid-way through the process of animating The Daily Life Of The Immortal King Season 3 and might release it in the Fall 2022 slate.
