Six years-old Bridger Walker has received countless messages from A-list stars after heroic act.
Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Tom Holland, and countless stars have sent their messages to the heroic six-year-old boy who courageously saved his younger sister from a vicious dog attack.
Bridger Walker, from Cheyenne in Wyoming, was rushed to the hospital after he pulled his sister away from the attacking dog. He suffered from nasty scars and surgeons had to give him 90 stitches to close the wounds in his face following the attack.
The young boy's heroic action has received a lot of praise on social media, and among those who reached out to the boy are the Marvel superhero actors Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Tom Holland.
Chris Evans called Bridger Walker a hero and promised to send him a Captain America shield.
In a video message posted by Walker's aunt Nikki Walker on her Instagram page, the 39-year-old actor said: "Captain America here, so I read your story, I saw what you did and I'm sure you heard a lot of this over the last couple days, but let me be the next one to tell you, pal, you're a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless, your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother.
Evans told Bridger that his parents must be so proud of him.
The actor further added: "I'm going to track down your address and I'm going to send you an authentic Captain America shield because pal, you deserve it."
Ironman Robert Downey Jr. also sent Bridger another heartwarming message and promised the boy a surprise better than Captain America's shield.
In another Instagram video posted by Bridger’s aunt, Downey Jr. said:
"My name’s Robert Downey Jr., I play Tony [Stark], that makes me an old friend of Cap’s. I heard he sent a shield your way: I’m going to do one better."
The ironman actor further added: "You call me on your next birthday, I got something special for you… By the way, that’s a promise; a promise beats a shield."
Spiderman Tom Holland, on the other hand, invited Bridger on the set of Spider-Man 3.
The young actor who was also amazed at the boy's bravery spoke to Bridger on the phone and gave the offer saying: "We’re going to be shooting Spider-Man 3, and if you ever want to come to the set and hang out and see the Spider-Man suit up close and hang out with us, you’re always welcome. You’ll always be my guest."
Bridger's story has been an inspiration to a lot of people around the world.
His little sister is very lucky to have a big brother who will protect her at all costs.
Speaking to his aunt following the attack, the six-year-old boy revealed: ‘If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me.’
Indeed, he is a true hero who deserves all the honor and praise he's receiving. Bridger is currently recuperating at home now while a myriad of heartwarming messages from people continue to pour for the young superhero.
