The Asterisk War Season 3 Renewal Status
Currently, the renewal status of The Asterisk War Season 3 is pending. There have been no updates regarding its renewal or cancellation, which seems to be a common trend for many anime series these days. Unlike American TV shows, animes take a longer time to create and release. However, there is a possibility of a third season, especially since the light novel series it is based on is still ongoing.
Another indication that the series may continue is that it is now available on Netflix. Netflix tends to pick up animes that show promise and success. If the original production studio, A-1 Pictures Inc., decides to end the series, Netflix may choose to renew it. This has happened several times before, and I believe The Asterisk War deserves a renewal.

The Asterisk War Plot
The Asterisk War is set in a world that has been devastated by a global cataclysm called Invertia and is governed by an organization known as the Integrated Enterprise Foundation. In this post-apocalyptic world, some individuals are born with extraordinary superhuman abilities called Genestella, and they attend prestigious schools designed for people with special powers. The story follows a boy named Ayato Amagiri, who transfers to one of the top-ranked schools, Seidoukan Academy, in search of his missing sister. However, Ayato faces challenges as he is forced to participate in duels known as Festas.
