Does AFC Richmond Win the Final?

After a very close fight, AFC Richmond managed to bag the victory. The team celebrates, but Ted noticed that someone has torn up his “BELIEVE” poster. In a press conference following the match, he opens up about his panic attacks and stresses the importance of starting a discussion on mental health in sports.

Roy Kent plans a six-week vacation for him and Keeley to celebrate the victory. Sadly, she only tells him to go alone since she is busy. The season ended with Nate overseeing a football practice together with Rupert, Rebecca's former husband.

So, first things first, what is the fate of AFC Richmond? Despite not winning their final match of the season against Brentford, the team manages to tie the game after a nail-biter of a penalty kick by Dani Rojas. A tie is all that’s needed for AFC Richmond to garner enough points to be promoted to the Premier League. Therefore, after spending a season relegated to the Championship League, our favorite team is back in the highest league in English football.

Did Nate Leave AFC Richmond? Why Is He So Mad At Ted?

After selling out Nate's panic attacks to the press, we finally saw the extent of his hatred towards Ted. He accuses the head coach of being a fraud. Nate has plenty of complaints against Ted. He is mad that he built up his confidence only to completely sideline him.

Nate also thinks that Ted is blaming him for the team's poor performance. Aside from that, Nate claims that he earned his position, while Ted was just handed the job.

Of course, his claims are a result of his insecurities. His lack of authority frustrates Nate, and he is blaming Ted for this.

After AFC Richmond gets their spot back in the Premier League, Nate is not happy. He is most likely the person who destroyed Ted's “BELIEVE poster. In the end, he leaves AFC Richmond to train Westham.

He is now working with Rebecca’s scheming ex-husband, Rupert, who recently bought Westham. It looks like Nate and Ted will eventually face each other in an intense war on the football field.
