Will Takt's musical battles continue to season 2?
'Takt op Destiny' is anime produced by MAPPA and Madhouse, based on the mixed-media project by Bandai Namco Arts and DeNA. The anime takes place in 2047, in a world where people cannot freely play music to avoid getting killed by extraterrestrial creatures called D2 that have infiltrated the Earth. 'Takt op Destiny' received mixed reviews and currently holds a score of 7.15 on MyAnimeList. Some anime lovers are accusing the anime of being "waifu bait.” However, some viewers and critics strongly disagree. Hence, the anime continues to draw a sizable amount of attention. The anime was released in October 2021 and wrapped up in December 2021. Is 'Takt op Destiny' returning for another season? Here are the early details so far.
As of this writing, 'Takt op Destiny' is not renewed for season 2 yet. 'Takt op Destiny' season 1 premiered on October 6, 2021. It has 12 episodes, which concluded on December 22nd, 2021. Based on this information, we might not see season 2, at least until late 2023 or 2024, assuming it gets renewed.
The emergence of D2s brought chaos to the United States of America. D2s are invasive, extraterrestrial species that came from a black meteorite that fell to Earth. The government issued a public decree banning citizens from playing any music to prevent getting killed by D2s. These creatures hate any melody. The prohibition lasted until 2047. The only way for humans to defend themselves against the aliens is through Musicarts and Conductors. Musicarts are young women that represent classical music, and the Conductors are those who control them. The anime story centers around Takt Asahina, a withdrawn piano prodigy. He becomes a Conductor after a spontaneous D2 attack. Anna Schneider's younger sister, Cosette, got killed in the same incident. Takt comes into contact with his Musicart, Destiny. The anime follows their journey and adventure to the Symphonica Headquarters in New York City. Despite having initially different goals, they must work together to stay alive on the D2-infested path. We will get back to this article once we gather more information.
Kōki Uchiyama leads the cast list as Takt Asahina, with Shion Wakayama as Destiny, and Kaede Hondo as Anna Schneider. They will likely return if the anime gets renewed for another season. The rest of the season 1 cast includes:
Satoshi Hino as Lenny
Daisuke Namikawa as Felix Schindler
Eiji Hanawa[ as Sagan
Miku Itō as Titan
Reina Ueda as Jigoku
Sumire Uesaka as Valkyrie
Inori Minase as Tengoku
First of all, we need to get a renewal, and the anime has to undergo production. We won't be getting a trailer till then.
