Spider-Man: Brand New Day Will Reportedly Be Filming In Morocco As Marvel No Longer Wants It To Be A Street Level Movie

Filming for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is said to be expanding to Morocco in addition to the UK, where the production center will be located. According to insider Daniel Richtman, the movie will take a more global tack, much like “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”

Given his prior trips to Washington, D.C., in “Homecoming,” and throughout Europe in “Far From Home,” this development implies that Peter Parker’s journey will once again transcend New York City.

The filming locations in Morocco might offer unique and exotic settings, which could bring the franchise’s visual aesthetic back to life.

Preproduction is now underway for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” with filming set to start in August. Tom Holland will return as Spider-Man, while Steven Yeun is rumored to play the antagonist Mr. Negative.
