The brilliant 'Silicon Valley' is one of the best sitcoms that is hard to compete with or match its perfection with. Aired on HBO, 'Silicon Valley' is created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler, and Dave Krinsky. This sitcom has managed to entertain its audience with five successful seasons, and of course, there is no doubt about the show's success. especially after knowing that fans have no plan of letting this show go as they are anticipating its sixth installment. The show revolves around the lives of five young men who are in the iconic Silicon Valley. There lives change when all of them together found a start-up. The show has the same kind of comedy as in some of the iconic sitcoms like 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'The Office'.
The first season aired back in 2014 on the screen, and because of its spectacular performance, it got renewed immediately and the show has continued to impact the viewers and critics with five other seasons. Now, fans want to know when can they expect season 6 of 'Silicon Valley' to hit the screen, so let's find out what is the scene concerning its release.
Yes. It goes without saying that there will be season 6 of 'Silicon Valley. According to reports, the sad part is that after season 6, there will not be any further season of Silicon Valley for Pied Piper. “Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us,” series executive producers/showrunners Mike Judge and Alec Berg said. “We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion. We are forever indebted to our incredible cast, crew and partners at HBO. At a certain point, there’s only so much we can do to make the world a better place.”
“In terms of last season, it’s a natural question; we have had conversations with them,” HBO president of programming Casey Bloys told Deadline. “Obviously when you get to the sixth season of a show, you have to talk about how much more is there in this — do you want to do more? — so we have had those conversations. We are open to any version but, as we did with Veep, we put it to [the producers] and say, ‘What do you think?’ They need to get in the room with the writers and see what feels right.”
The exact release date is not revealed as for now, however, we can expect the final season to make its way on our screen in October. The release date shall be announced soon.
The series revolves around embattled awkward and misfit videos of compression 'Pied Piper', in Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) Bertram Gilfoyle (Martin Starr), Jared Dunn (Zach Woods), and Dinesh Chugtai (Kumail Nanjiani). These are the characters who are going to come back for the sixth installment. T.J. Miller, who happens to be the original cast member and who played the role of forever-stoned Pied Piper idea man, Erlich Bachman, left the series after Season 4.
Silicon Valley creator Mike Judge spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, “Season five would be the second-to-last, yeah. That’s how we were talking when we were setting up this season finale, just to help us in the writing. But you never know. It could be that it gets to six and someone has some idea.” The last episode of the fifth season had Pied Piper showed him in their new office, therefore, when the sixth season returns, fans will be shown as if they have been here for a while. “I’m not sure if it’s clearly defined but some time has passed,” Middleditch said. “It’s not the next day, that’s for sure. There’s a bit of a time jump. It’s not too crazy but it’s pretty apparent. It’s kind of sweet for us,” Middleditch said. “We started in an actual house for the pilot. Now we’re in a big crazy two story office building.”
