HBO is reviving 'Sex And The City ' and the original cast members are coming back!
'Sex And The City' lead stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis has confirmed their return through cryptic social media posts along with a video teasing the revival.
The teaser shows various scenes of New York City, with an unseen Carrie Bradshaw typing out the intro of what would seem to be one of her famously raunchy columns, ‘And just like that… the story continues’.

Davis tweeted: "Anything is possible… the story continues!"
Unfortunately, it seems like we won't be seeing Kim Cattrall back as the insatiable Samantha Jones after she did not post anything about the revival.
Fans are already wondering how her absence would impact the dynamics of the central cast members and the narrative eventually.
Others are downright saying the show won't be the same without her.

Meanwhile, it's still unclear if any of the male cast will be reprising their roles too.
The ten-episode limited series is also bringing back director Michael Patrick King as executive producer.
Production will begin in New York in the late spring of this year. The limited series is coming to HBO Max on a yet to be announced date.
'Sex and the City' is a long-running romantic comedy-drama series that aired from June 6, 1998, to February 22, 2004.
The series was created by Darren Star based on Candace Bushnell’s book and follows the lives of four women (three in their mid-thirties and one in her forties).
The revival will feature Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte as they navigate life in their fifties.
“I grew up with these characters, and I can’t wait to see how their story has evolved in this new chapter, with the honesty, poignancy, humor and the beloved city that has always defined them,” said Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content, HBO Max said via Deadline.
HBO has been doing a lot of revivals of its popular shows lately to build up HBO Max. Hence, we can expect more revivals in the future.
