Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal also called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal is an anime show that is based on critically acclaimed manga Bishoujo Senshi Moon. The Sailor Moon Crystal is not just the first anime adaptation of the manga and a multiple-seasons have been aired in the 1990s. In 2014, the show was again revived under the name Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal and premiered for the first time on July 5, 2014.  'Sailor Moon' is known to be one of the most popular animations of the West both in the '90s and 2014, Toei Animation decided to create 'Sailor Moon Crystal' which is a reboot of 'Sailor Moon' to celebrate its 20th year anniversary. Ever since then, the show has been performing well and became a popular show leaving fans asking for the new seasons. Here is everything we know about 'Sailor Moon Crystal' season 4.

Well, looking back at how season 3 ended, the three main characters, Chibiusa, Mamoru and Usagi were witnessing an eclipse. The show ended when the three main characters were witnessing the eclipse and one of the girls heard a bell ringing, leaving fans wondering about it. This in a way also hinted about the possibility of the fourth season. However, there hasn't been any information about the renewal of the show for the fourth season.



 

Also, going with what has been going on the internet, and according to the official website of 'Sailor Moon,'  the fourth arc of the Sailor Moon manga, which is called 'Dream', and which features the Dead Moon Circus and major power-ups for our heroes, along with many shots in the arm of Silver Millenium era mythology, will come in the form of a feature film series that will have two parts. We can hope for Sailor Moon Crystal season 4 to be out sometime in 2020, or 2021. 

 Who All Might Return In The Fourth Installment Of 'Sailor Moon Crystal'?

The director of season 3, Chiaki Kon is expected to return to helm the films, along with the impeccable character designer Kazuko Tadano, who will be designing the characters for the fourth installment. As far as the characters are concerned, we can hope to see Sailor Venus / Minako Aino, Sailor Jupiter / Makoto Kino, Sailor Mars / Rei Hino, Sailor Mercury / Ami Mizuno, Tuxedo Mask / Mamoru Chiba, Luna, Sailor Moon / Usagi Tsukino again in the fourth season. Apart from them, we can expect Sailor Senshi characters to return, who are Sailor Ceres, Sailor Juno, Sailor Pallas, and Sailor Vesta. These characters were introduced back in 'Sailor Moon Super S'.

What Could Be The Plot Of Fourth Installment Of 'Sailor Moon Crystal'?

For those who watched the third season would know that Usagi and Mamoru along with Sailor Guardians start investigating the bizarre cases of students from an elite school called Mugen Academy being transformed into monsters. As they continue digging in to know more, they meet three strange individuals, the first one was handsome racecar driver Haruka Tenou, the second one was talented violinist Michiru Kaiou, and the third one being a weak, mysterious girl called Hotaru Tomoe. Soon the Sailor Guardians also have to deal with surprise entry of two new protectors of the planetary who own and work on their own. The fact that the Sailor Guardians have to unite to team up with the duo and fight and defeat the big threat, that is a powerful, evil entity who calls himself Pharaoh 90.

Also, according to Movie Pilot, the story will revolve around a new character called Outer Senshi. Going with the report, these characters will be majorly involved in the 'Dream Arc'. According to iDigitalTimes, in 'Sailor Moon Crystal Season 4', "Chibiusa attempts to return to the future by using the time key but is attacked by the Amazoness Quartet. One of them, PallaPalla, creates another group of hench-villains known as the Amazon Trio, and casts a spell on Usagi and Chibiusa, forcing them to swap bodies."
