It’s possible that Sadie Sink is heading right into the Spider-Verse from the Upside Down. The Stranger Things star may be joining Tom Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, according to rumors from a Marvel Insider.
Fans are already going crazy over the prospect of Max Mayfield working with—or against—Peter Parker, even if Marvel is keeping her participation a secret. When Holland appeared on Good Morning America last year, he even gave a subtle hint about the project.
The fandom is currently in full spec mode: Is she a friend? Enemy? Or something far stranger?
The actress from Stranger Things is rumored to be playing Mayday Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
John Rocha, an insider on The Hot Mic show, claims.
According to [source], Sadie Sink is portraying Mayday Parker. Connecting to the world of Tobey, then. She is his daughter.
As the daughter of THE ORIGINAL web-slinger Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) and MJ (Kirsten Dunst), Sink may be entering the Spideyverse. With a Multiverse twist, the alleged position links her to an entirely new Spider-Man reality.
Although Sink joined the cast in March, Marvel has been quiet about the specifics. Some fans had her pegged as Jean Grey, but this Mayday Parker theory? It’s got serious legs. Following Tom Holland’s completion of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will begin production later this year.
MCU fans can see Spider-Man get dressed up for Avengers: Doomsday, in which he teams up with the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to battle none other than Doctor Doom, before Brand New Day hits theaters. It will indeed be a full-fledged Marvel mashup.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to drop on July 31, 2026.
