The cover of celebrity Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album, titled Man’s Best Friend, has officially dropped online. Some Carpenter fans have expressed excitement, while others have expressed disapproval, arguing that the album artwork is excessively s*xual. Sabrina Carpenter is now responding to the criticism of the album cover on social media.
The answer was prompted by a critic who responded to the artwork uploaded on X, but has since had their account suspended and their post removed.
As you can see below, @PopCulture2000s posted the Sabrina Carpenter album cover artwork, which as of this writing has received close to 60,000 likes.
In their now-deleted post, the critic asked the following query in response, as reported by Newsweek:
“Does she have a personality outside of s*x?”
Unexpectedly, Carpenter herself replied to the comment, garnering a lot of support from her followers. She managed the matter in a way that only she could, without saying much:
“girl yes,” she writes in response, “and it is goooooood.”
As previously stated, at this point, the original album artwork published had about 60,000 likes. However, in response to her return, Carpenter has received close to 200,000 likes and 3,200 comments. Given that the person to whom she replied had now had their account fully suspended and the comment removed, it was clear that she had made her point.
The singer also unveiled alternate cover photo that is “approved by God”:
