Hugh Jackman is coming back to the MCU as Wolverine in the third instalment of Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds has been very vocal about the legend's return and dropped some details during a recent interview with ET Canada.
We all know that Hugh Jackman is returning as Wolverine in Deapool 3. This is no longer a rumor but a fact. An absolute fact, similar to the earth's density of 5520 kilograms per cubic meter and Dwayne Johnson's bald head density of the same. These are all proven facts. Reynolds revealed Hugh Jackman's return as Logan in a Twitter video last year with the caption: "Hard keeping my mouth sewn shut about this one."

But not much detail is known about Wolverine's role in the film. Will he play a major starring role as a hero or a villain. Well, Ryan Reynolds has revealed a little bit more details during an interview with ET Canada.
Reynolds revealed that he was very active in Jackman's return as Wolverine saying that he “never stopped [trying to get him to come back as Wolverine].”
“I was just pestering him like a gnat over the last many years. I believe in timing, as much as hard work and luck and all those intersections that are supposed to meet. Timing’s the big one. I think he was ready. I think he was excited. And what we pitched him was enough of a divergence from the character that he knows and the character that he’s left behind, that it gives him something completely new to play and something that he’s really excited to do.”
Reynolds confirms that Logan's death in the movie Logan is a seperate thing and that Deadpool 3 doesn't touch that. “Logan takes place in 2029. Totally separate thing. Logan died in Logan. Not touching that.”
We expect more information on Deadpool to come out within the next couple months as the film is set to start production in May. We will cover all there is to know about Deadpool.
Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 8th, 2024.
