In yet another case of speculation of who is a part of a new Marvel movie, fans are theorizing that the new Doctor Strange movie will have Ryan Reynolds and Sir Patrick Stewart in it. The latest Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer was released recently. Fans previously seemed to think that Tom Cruise was a part of the film as Superior Iron Man, the villainous version of Iron Man.

But there are also rumors that Stewart, who portrayed Charles Xavier or Professor X in the X-Men film series is coming back in a yet undisclosed role. Additionally, there are fans who also believe Reynolds is a part of the film as well.

The two actors are reacting to these rumors and are denying their involvement in the film. Speaking to Comic Book Stewart stated: "You know, people have been imitating my voice ever since I came on the stage 60 years ago. So, I can't be held responsible for that." The voice in question, in the trailer, states: "We should tell him the truth." Fans think he will be coming to the Doctor Strange sequel as part of the shadowy organization called The Illuminati. But Stewart has denied it.

As for Reynolds, who previously played the anti-hero, Deadpool, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has also denied his involvement. Fans claim to have seen a poster of Deadpool in the trailer and believe he will be a part of the film. "I’m really not in the movie," Reynolds assured Variety at the London West Hollywood before the screening of his Netflix sci-fi action movie The Adam Project. He went on to add, "I’m promising, I’m not in the movie." But the third Deadpool movie is underway.

This has been right out of the Andrew Garfield book of denial. In interviews, the tick, tick...Boom! actor had vehemently denied his involvement in the latest Spider-man movie. We all know how true that was. But the speculation did soften the element of surprise that we could have enjoyed in the film when the revelation was made.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to release on 6 May 2022. It will follow the events of Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Elizabeth Olsen, as Wanda Maximoff or the Scarlett Witch of the MCU, will be making an appearance in the sequel. Based on the things that have happened so far, the world is a mess and Doctor Strange is finding a way to fix it as per what we see in the trailer.
