Ryan Coogler’s Sinners Has Surpassed $300 Million Worldwide

Warner Bros.’ Sinners has crossed the $300 million global milestone, which is another amazing accomplishment.

Sinners, which is being heralded as the first big hit of 2025, is surpassing even the most optimistic predictions, and its box office trajectory is difficult to predict. While some analysts are estimating a final global take of over $300 million, others suggest the film could push past the $400 million milestone if its current momentum holds.

The picture, which cost $90 million to produce, has already made an astounding $303.5 million globally, of which $229.7 million has come from the domestic box office and $73.8 million has come from foreign ones. The film’s exceptionally consistent week-to-week performance, which shows little drop in revenues, is particularly noteworthy. This is uncommon in the highly competitive box office environment of today.

The twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown in an attempt to start over after their turbulent lives, only to find that a more formidable evil awaits them there.

“You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”

Jordan has a dual part in “Sinners,” which was written and directed by Academy Award-nominated director Ryan Coogler. Other cast members include Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Miles Caton, and Delroy Lindo.

Ryan Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler are the film’s producers. Will Greenfield, Rebecca Cho, and Ludwig Göransson serve as executive producers.

Director of photography Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Oscar-winning production designer Hannah Beachler, editor Michael P. Shawver, Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and costume designer Ruth E. Carter are among Coogler’s behind-the-camera collaborators from the “Black Panther” franchise.
