Sarah Snook's amazing performance will soon drop on Netflix, let's see when...
Run Rabbit Run, a thriller starring Sarah Snook premiered at the Sundance Festival 2023. The movie was directed by Daine Reid and the script is adapted from Hannah Kent's book of the same name. Today we are here to provide details on the release and everything else related to Run Rabbit Run. So, here's what we know...
The movie has already debuted at the Sundance festival recently. However, the movie's exact release date is yet to be announced by the streamer, but we do know that we will see it in 2023. The movie has also gotten many reviews, and here's one of them... “Reid’s handsomely shot film takes its time building to its inevitable climax, and some of the more familiar genre tropes feel a little on the nose. But Snook carries the piece with gusto…”- Ed Gibbs, Times UK.
Here's the official logline for the movie,
"Sarah Snook plays a fertility doctor who believes firmly in life and death, but after noticing the strange behavior of her young daughter, must challenge her own values and confront a ghost from her past.”
As already mentioned, Succession actor Sarah Snook will be playing the lead role in the movie. She is joined by her real-life daughter Lily LaTorre as well as Damon Herriman, and also Emmy-winning actor Greta Scacchi. The movie is being produced by the book's writer Hannah Kent who, in an interview with Screen Rant, had to say this about her experience as a producer..." I first had a meeting five or six years ago with the producers. They had read my books and thought there might have been a visual sensibility, so they asked me if I was ever interested in writing for the screen. We had this really disastrous pitch meeting where I, not being a screenwriter, pitched them all of my failed short stories. They were super polite and encouraging, and as we were finishing up our coffees, they asked what I was working on. I started talking about this book that I had in mind about the experiences of parents whose children report previous lives; who start talking about other parents and other families that they miss. This has been really well-documented."
