Rob Lowe Celebrates 31st Anniversary With Sheryl Berkoff, Gushing Over Her

9-1-1: Lone Star actor Rob Lowe, posts a beautiful picture of his wife, Sheryl Berkoff on their 31st wedding anniversary, PEOPLE reports. He writes, “Happy 31st Anniversary, baby,” he wrote on Friday, July 22, 2022. “Your love has made my world. You are as beautiful, knowledgeable, fascinating, kind, and hilarious as you were so many glorious years ago.” He adds, “Partners in love for life!!”

The couple got married in 1991 and since then have raised two children, Matthew Edward Lowe, 29, and John Owen Lowe, 27. They first met on a blind date in the late 80s that didn’t pan out too well. However, they found their way back to each other on the set of Bad Influence in 1990. Since then, they have been together 31 years and counting. 

Lowe takes many opportunities to celebrate his wife, a recent one being in June on her birthday. He wrote, “Happy Birthday to the love of my life. You are the whole package, and I am blessed,” he continued. “Here's to many more years of love and fun! Xoxo.” But the more significant aspect was his recovery from substance abuse. “[Berkoff] may have saved my life, really,” he said. “I mean, she met me when I was at the end of my '80s run of wild boy craziness and she was worth changing my life for.”

However, The West Wing star is not the only one smitten by her. Gwyneth Paltrow met Berkoff while she was filming a TV movie and Sheryl was doing the makeup, according to Us Weekly. She expressed, “And she was so cool. … I just worshipped her. I thought she was literally the coolest chick of all time.” When speaking about the “biggest influence” on his life, Lowe told Men’s Journal, “It has to be my wife. We've known each other for well over 30 years, and the number of times where she has helped me make better decisions than I would’ve made on my own is innumerable.”

Talking to PEOPLE, Lowe expressed his love and appreciation for his wife. “I had the feeling that if I was ever going to be able to make it work with anybody, it was Sheryl,” Lowe recounts. The actor remains forever grateful that Sheryl, owner of Sheryl Lowe Jewelry, took a chance on him. "She saw things in me that nobody had ever seen before," he says, calling his 30-year marriage to Sheryl one of life's greatest "miracles."

"I still think she's the hottest, sexiest, most beautiful, insane, complicated, entertaining person that I know, in addition to being a great mother," he adds, heartily appreciating his wife.
