Who All Will Be There In Season 4 Of 'Riverdale'?

The third part of the show had all the big names, therefore, we can hope to see the main bunch on the fourth season, including KJ Apa (Archie), Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge), Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones), Marisol Nichols (Hermione Lodge), Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom), Mädchen Amick (Alice Cooper), Mark Consuelos (Hiram Lodge), Casey Cott (Kevin Keller) and Skeet Ulrich (FP Jones). However, there is one actress who will not be seen much in the fourth season is Ashleigh Murray, as her character Josie McCoy is now confirmed to appear in the spin-off series Katy Keene. Even though Katy is set post-Riverdale, we will see McCoy on the series in some form.

In March, Luke Perry passed away, making obvious that Fred Andrews, of course, will not directly feature on the show, after his last appearance coming in season three. The final three episodes of season three were solely dedicated to Perry's memory- but the fourth season will take it further with one entire episode dedicated to the actor. It will be titled 'In Memoriam'. Taking to Twitter, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa wrote: "Probably the most important episode of #Riverdale we'll do this year, if not ever. A tribute to our fallen friend. Thankful for this opportunity to honor Luke & Fred."

Has The Filming Already Started For Season 4 Of 'Riverdale'?

What Will Be Happen In The Fourth Season Of 'Riverdale'?

The fourth season will definitely show and explain Fred's departure from the show, and it is believed that the episode will be called 'In Memoriam'. It is so because in season 3, fans were left to wonder about Luke's whereabouts by not mentioning anything about Fred Andrews, along with Luke's death in the middle of the season. According to the show's creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa it was a deliberate choice to make Luke disappear in a random manner.

"When Luke had passed, we had already pretty much plotted out the end of this season and written the end of this season," he told Entertainment Tonight ."Rather than try to squeeze something in and potentially not get it right, we thought, let’s take a beat and let’s figure out really what would be the best way to honor Luke and to honor the character of Fred and let’s do it at the top of season four. Luckily, Molly [Ringwald] was already slated to come, so we kind of just reflected and wanted to give ourselves the time to do those things right."The show's creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa explained that this was a deliberate choice.
