On Sunday, the world watched Rihanna's groundbreaking Super Bowl halftime show. 15 minutes of breathtaking performance followed by an epic pregnancy reveal in the form of a work pantsuit, puffers, and a breastplate that will address pretty much-set maternity trends for this year. A Representative confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the pop star is pregnant following her explosive performance.

Rihanna performed all her well-known hits like Where Have you Been, We Found love, and of course Diamonds and Work. Rihanna is already a mum to a 9-month-old boy whom she shares with rapper A$AP Rocky. In an interview that happened moments before she took the stage, she expressed how she was contemplating performing at the super-bowl. She said that it was motherhood that ultimately inspired her to perform at the big game halftime.

“I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this,'” she said.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything,” she added. “And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all,” she said. “It’s important for my son to see that.”

“That’s key for people to see the possibilities. And I’m honored to be here. I’m honored to be doing this year,” she added.

She also talked about how difficult the 12-minute set was for her,

“The setlist was the biggest challenge. That was the hardest part — deciding how to maximize 13 minutes, but also celebrate. That’s what the show’s going to be — it’s going to be a celebration of my catalog in the best way,” she said. “I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down.”

The singer opened her set in an all-red outfit as she descended from the air on a floating platform as she was singing Bitch Better Have My Money

The singer first announced her performance back in September 2022 and got fans hyped about the same. Riri made a comeback to the music scene with her musicals in Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, namely Lift me Up ad Born Again. The singer also bagged a Grammy in the Best Original category. You can Watcher her performance here...
