Raising Voices (or Ni una más, as it was known in Spanish regions) was written by Miguel Sáez Carral and Isa Sánchez. It told the story of 17-year-old Alma and her friends Greta and Nata, whose lives were completely turned upside down when they found a sign outside their school announcing that a rapist was inside the school gates. On May 31, 2024, all eight episodes were made available on Netflix worldwide. The cast included Teresa de Mera, Aïcha Villaverde, Nicole Wallace, and Clara Galle. But can we expect more episodes? Here’s everything we know so far.
Has Raising Voices Been Renewed For Season 2?
There had been considerable conjecture about possible season 2 plans after Raising Voices ended, but most sites decided that the series would be a one-and-done affair. Nevertheless, according to the weekly top 10 reports for the series and the tracker website NewonNetflix.info, Netflix uploaded the season with the label “Season 1.” Similarly, no reference to Raising Voices being a limited series was found in any of the pre-release materials. However, it was likely always dubious that the show would return because it translates the novel directly from beginning to end.
The announcement that it will become a limited series comes from the fourth edition of Netflix’s Engagement Report, which offers a detailed look at viewing hours and views from July through December 2024. For the second part of the year, the label was changed from Season 1 to Limited Series. In 2024, the series received 25.40 million views in the first half and 9.1 million in the second half.

Titles that we have long known will be limited series are the only other notable changes from reports three and four. These consist of the Thai dark comedy series 6ixtynin9, the French drama series Class Act, and the Italian drama series Supers*x. Although many were already anticipated, we revealed on December 31st that Netflix has rejected season 2 orders for at least 30 additional shows back in December 2024. The titles were A Tale Dark & Grimm and The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window
