Psychological Thriller With Almost Perfect Rotten Tomatoes Score Is Being Dubbed The ‘Greatest Show Ever’

If a series has earned the title of “greatest show ever,” it must be doing something right.

It can be challenging to decide what to watch on services like Netflix, Prime, and AppleTV because there is so much content available.

You can always watch some of your favorites, of course, but how many times can you see THAT Game of Thrones ending?

Director Sam Esmail, whose name you most likely identify with Leave the World Behind these days, has been named the recipient of the ‘best show ever’ accolade.

However, the director first became well-known for his work on the psychological thriller Mr. Robot, which continues to be discussed today.

The show, which debuted in 2015, centers on cybersecurity engineer Elliot Alderson, who transforms into a master hacker in an instant.

Though many people were unaware of Mr. Robot before its meteoric rise on Amazon Prime, the series has four seasons in total.

The show undoubtedly has a cult following as well; one fan even went so far as to call it the “greatest show ever” and “better than Breaking Bad” on Twitter.

The post reads: “Just finished rewatching MR ROBOT cuz this might be the greatest show ever created on this fkin planet cuz I wanna rewatch it over again & again man it’s even better than Breaking Bad, Sam Esmail and Rami Malek just take a bow. What geniuses. Fkin nailed it. Whaaaata masterpiece.”

Mr. Robot has a nearly flawless 94 percent Rotten Tomatoes score as well as some very amazing reviews.

Critics give season one a 98 percent rating, making it appear to be the best series.

Season two scores ninety percent, while season three scores ninety-two percent.

And Mr. Robot appeared to go out on a high note, earning an astounding 96 percent on season four.

Mr. Robot

Reviewing season four, Merrill Barr, from Forbes, penned: “The final season of Mr. Robot is starting with a bang and a promise that is going to leave audiences reeling.

“It’s everything we want Mr. Robot to be. It’s everything we always thought Mr. Robot could be. It’s everything Mr. Robot should be.”

In the meantime, Brian Lowry of CNN wrote: “Returning now, after some uneven stretches in seasons 2 and 3, the show feels as vibrant as ever, with the fifth of the episodes exhibiting the kind of deft, meticulously constructed cloak-and-dagger machinations that would work as a theatrical thriller.”
