'Powerpuff' Script Leaked And It's Absolutely Terrible

The script for the upcoming Powerpuff Girls Live Action Reboot has been leaked and it's a disaster!

Powerpuff

The Powerpuff Girls live-action series has been struggling to see the light of the day recently.

The CW has reportedly scrapped the initial script and plot for undisclosed reasons.

However, the script was allegedly leaked, and we can assume that the reason for the scrapping was that it was a disaster of a story.

Powerpuff is now trending on Twitter after the alleged leak, which has some dialogue that is an absolute disgrace to the classic cartoon that we all know and love.

The first part of the leaked script makes us understand why The CW scrapped it. We read that the others threaten to leak nudes of Blossom if she doesn't wake up, mentioning that it has worked before.

The leaked script also makes mentions of lesbian relationships. Blossom finds Buttercup in bed with a girl she met at a bar when she hears a "bumping sound from Buttercup's room."

Buttercup speaks about hate boners, and we get a joke about the video game "ToeJam & Earl."

From what we get from the leaked script, the live-action Powerpuff is a lot more adult and inclusive. This can be seen as good for some, but The CW may have thought it to be a bit too much and are trying to dial it down a bit.

We don't know for certain that this script is real. It could be utter BS, but the tweet was flagged for copyright infringement, so it may actually be the real deal.

The Powerpuff reboot does actually seem like a disaster in its current state. If it wasn't a reboot, we could have easily accepted the script as it is. But knowing that so many people grew up with this show, it's probably not a good idea to butcher it with vulgar nude jokes. The CW made a solid decision, and maybe it's best to ease it into it.

The reboot's initial plot reads:

Powerpuff follows the trio that used to be America’s pint-sized superheroes. Now they’re disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime-fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?

It stars Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault as Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, and Donald Faison as Professor Drake Utonium

What do you think of the alleged script? Do you think it butchers the classic cartoon series we all know and love?
