Argentinian officials have explained what they discovered in Liam Payne’s hotel room.
Tragically, the One Direction member fell from his hotel room’s third-floor balcony and died at the age of 31.
Yesterday (October 16) at around 5:00pm, police were called to the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The hotel management notified the authorities that a man had fallen from his room’s balcony; the victim was identified as 31-year-old Liam Payne, who became famous on the British singing competition The X-Factor as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Now the Buenos Aires police have spoken about what they found in his hotel room, explaining that they found clonazepam and alcohol.
Epilepsy, involuntary muscular spasms, and panic disorders are some of the main conditions that this medicine helps manage.
The scene was described by the police as being in a state of “total disorder,” with numerous items destroyed and medication spilled throughout the room. They have taken fingerprints and other pieces of evidence from the area to analyze.
His lifeless body was on the floor outside his hotel room, next to his phone, a lighter, and a bottle of whiskey.
