Spin Master announced the film's development in 2019, following the massive success of the hit children's TV series. 'PAW Patrol: The Movie' will see the return of our favorite pup team as they try to protect Adventure City from destruction. The film will feature several big celebrities to voice our beloved characters.

When Will 'PAW Patrol: The Movie' Release?

'PAW Patrol: The Movie' will release in theaters on August 20, 2021, distributed by Paramount Pictures.

What Is The Plot Of 'PAW Patrol: The Movie'?

After receiving a distress call, Ryder and the pups go to Adventure City to stop Mayor Humdinger from destroying the bustling metropolis with his evil schemes. Kids who love the PAW Patrol will recognize Mayor Humdinger as the antagonist who is always up to some nefarious plans. In the upcoming film, the titular pups will have to face Mayor Humdinger once again and use their technology and wits to stop him. There will be more cool gizmos to help the pups carry out their mission.

Paramount Pictures has already released the official trailer for the film, and it looks like Mayor Humdinger is no match for the cuddly, furry team. You can watch the trailer at the bottom part of this article.

Who Is Cast In 'PAW Patrol: The Movie'?

The cast list for PAW Patrol's first feature film outing is star-studded.

Iain Armitage stars as the new voice of Chase, a German Shepherd who serves as a police pup. Justin Paul Kelly originally voiced Chase in the series. Iain Armitage is known for playing Sheldon Cooper in 'Young Sheldon'.

Black-ish co-stars Marsai Martin and Yara Shahidi are also joining the team as the voices behind new pup Liberty and female scientist Kendra Wilson, respectively.

Kim Kardashian will voice a poodle named Delores.

"I’m officially cool mom now to my kids! Paw Patrol We’re On A Roll," the business mogul tweeted following her casting announcement.

Jimmy Kimmel is also voicing news anchor Marty Muckraker, while Randall Park and Dax Shepard voice two security guards. Tyler Perry stars as the truck driver Gus, and Will Brisbin is the voice of Ryder.
