‘Paradise PD’ Renewed For Season 3

Yes, it is happening! 'Paradise PD' is officially coming back for Season 3! The renewal announcement came on April 2020, after a month's wait since season 2 was released.

It is quite bizarre that the renewal was announced only through the show's official Twitter page, and not through Netflix itself. Nonetheless, Netflix has recently released the official trailer for season 3, so we are relieved to know that the announcement was not just a prank. When Will ‘Paradise PD’ Season 3 Release?

The third season of the animated series will release on Netflix on March 12, 2021.

Luckily, we do not have to wait that long for the new season, unlike before. There was 17 months gap between season 1 and season 2. The show premiered on August 31, 2018, followed by season 2 on March 6, 2020.

What Is The Plot Of ‘Paradise PD’ Season 3?

The last season was almost a happy ending, with the Paradise PD taking down the Kingpin, and Dobby heroically sacrificing himself by crashing Chief Crawford’s chopper into the nuke.

However, in an unfortunate twist, the Kingpin had a second Nuke, which successfully detonated and cooked the Kingpin's giant deep-dish pizza.

For a second, we thought it's going to be a devastating conclusion to Paradise. However, just before the credits rolled, we were assured that it's not the end of the Paradise PD.

Luckily, we now know that it is true. So what's next for the Paradise PD? The team behind the animated series appeared in an interview with Mashable and gave us tiny clues about what to expect.

“We have a table read and two screenings for each episode and a punch up based on the reaction from each one,”  creator Waco O’Guin said. Back then, Waco was still very hesitant to share more details about what's going to happen in season 3. When the interviewer asked, “Legally, can you please tell us anything about Paradise PD Season 3? Even a little hint will do.”

Waco playfully replied: “We can actually tell you the entire plot… In Dobanese. Dobby Dobby Dobby Dobby DobbyDobbyDobbyDobbyDobbyDobby Dobby DobbyDobby. Dobby DobbyDobbyDobby! Dobby DobbyDobbyDobbyDobby?"

Luckily, we now have the official trailer to provide us with some answers. Season 3 will pick up on the devastating events of season 2 and will see the Paradise PD post-explosion. The residents were able to survive the blast, but the town has become a radioactive wasteland, which resulted in a lot of strange happenings. See the trailer below for more information.

Gerald will be up to some seriously messed-up scenes for season 3. Our favorite supporting characters will also be present to cause further trouble.
