‘Nyaruko: Crawling With Love,’ also called ‘Haiyore Nyaruko-San,’ is a fun anime for those who like to waste away their time watching something light, funny, and romantic. Although the show follows a quotidian storyline, one of the crucial factors to not overlook is the presence of vibrant characters and their chuckle-worthy roles that make this show worthwhile. Apart from the characters, the opening and closing themes are also very catchy, and there are background scenes that fit perfectly. Fans love this series because it does not let them go through some thinking exercise and just lets them watch it and have a good time, while they laugh and giggle at the sense of humor presented in it. Fans now want to know when they can see season 3 of ‘Haiyore Nyaruko-San.’ Let's explore.
Let's look at the timeline of previous seasons' arrival. The first season premiered on April 10, 2012, and continued till June 26. They aired a total of 12 episodes, with each of them being 24 minutes long. Then the second season was released on April 8, 2012, which went on till July 1, 2013. After these two seasons, a one-episode OVA premiered on June 19, 2015, leaving fans all elated and excited. Ever since the show started airing, it has never failed to soar high and has continued to improve every year. The ratings and figures have always increased, and with every season and OVA, the fan following has grown too. If we consider this fact, then it is hard to think of a reason as to why the creators would mind or not put effort to make another season for their fans, who have been loyal to this franchise for quite some time now. However, looking at the silence and gap of 8 years, we are forced to think whether or not the decision is in our favor when it comes to getting a new season. If at all the creators and producers decide to give this show a third season, then we can expect it to arrive sometime in 2024. Another possibility the creators might look at could be making more OVAs or side stories. Since there aren't any logical reasons we can think of as to why '‘Haiyore Nyaruko-San’ will not get a third season, let's wait for an official confirmation regarding it.
The story is about Mahiro Yasaka, who is a high school teen living an ordinary life. He is someone who likes to spend his time in peace where he does not have to act and react to people and where the possibilities are high of him getting into any kind of trouble. However, it doesn't matter what he wants or doesn't. He is anyway attacked by a deadly monster that almost kills him. He was lucky enough to get his life saved because of a girl named Nyaruko, and who claims to be a shape-shifting creature known as Nyarlathotep. She reveals that she exists from horror writer H.P Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos and was sent to earth from space to protect the people on earth. Soon she tells Mahiro that the creature that tried to kill him was none other than an alien called Nightgaunt, who desired to abduct him and sell him as a slave.
Things change when, after saving Mahiro from the monster, Nyaruko falls in love with him and forces her way into Mahiro's personal life. Not only that, she even shifts and moves into his house, and no matter how annoying it sounds for him, he knows that he is capable of doing nothing as she has more powers and is insanely strong, and also because of the fact that he owes his life to her. Things take a turn when Mahiro is joined by another girl named Cthuko, who is also head over heels in love with Mahiro, and also a character named Hasuta, whose gender remains questionable. Soon the three of them keep Mahiro and do not let him go because they become extra protective and clogs his life by staying with and around him all the time. Needless to say, life becomes a living hell for Mahiro.
