North Of North Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

Netflix comedy “North of North” is a joint production by Netflix and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), along with the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN). It originally premiered in Canada on Jan. 7 and on Netflix on April 10.

The official logline states, “A young Inuk woman (Anna Lambe) wants to build a new future for herself after a spontaneous — and extremely public — exit from her marriage. But it won’t be easy in a small Arctic town where everybody knows your business.”

Who Is In The Cast Of North Of North?

The cast includes Lambe, Maika Harper, Braeden Clarke, Jay Ryan, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kelly William, Zorga Qaunaq, Bailey Poching, Nutaaq Doreen Simmonds, Keira Belle Cooper, and Tanya Tagaq.

Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril created the series and are also executive producers. Miranda de Pencier, Anya Adams, Susan Coyne, and Garry Campbell are also executive producers.

“When I got the call from Alethea, Stacey and Miranda about ‘North of North’ being renewed for a second season, my heart exploded in the best way possible!” Lambe said. “I’m so excited and overwhelmed with joy, I can’t wait to head back to Ice Cove!”

Anya Adams, Aleysa Young, Renuka Jeyapalan, Zoe Leigh Hopkins, and Danis Goulet directed Season 1. The writers for the first season were Aglok MacDonald, Coyne, Campbell, Arnaquq-Baril, Kathryn Borel, Jr., Linsey Stewart, Moriah Sallaffie, Aviaq Johnston, and JP Larocque.
