Anime lovers can expect some good news and the cute kitty to meow again this year.
We love some lighthearted slice-of-life and comedy anime from time to time and when the first season of Nights With A Cat arrived in August and concluded in September of 2022, we couldn't get enough of the cute and fluffy animated cat who managed to steal our hearts instantly. The show is based on the Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kyuryu Z and has been in active publication since 2020. But the fans demand more of Fuuta-Kun and his interactions with the furry friend in his house and there is some good news in store for them. We have no official release date announcement from the studio yet but the sequel of this anime will possibly arrive at some point in late 2023. The official Twitter page of the anime announced the sequel of Nights With A Cat so rest assured, we will see the cute cat and the protagonists return soon this year.
The voice cast includes Satoshi Hino as Fuuta, Atsumi Tanezaki as Pii-Chan, and Ayahi Takagaki as Kyuruga. The series is directed by Minoru Ashina and is produced by Studio Puyukai.
The story follows the life of Fuuta-Kun who has never owned a cat in his life so far but his younger sister, Pii arrives to live in the house with a fluffy gray cat named Kyuruga. Fuuta doesn't know what to expect from the pet living with him in the same house but each night he returns to get a new surprise from the cat. In the second season, viewers can expect the usual cute antics of the pet cat and Fuuta getting more and more comfortable living with Kyuruga and his little actions. Other than that there is no official synopsis available for the second season yet and we can only rely on our assumptions.
