Netflix finally unveils the release date for 'Cowboy Bebop' live-action adaptation.
The Netflix live-action adaptation for 'Cowboy Bebop' finally gets a release date after almost two years in production!
'Cowboy Bebop' was one of the most popular anime shows in the '90s worldwide, so there is immense pressure on Netflix to do the live-action right.
Netflix received criticisms with its previous live-action adaptations, but the streaming giant is working hard to avoid the same mistakes for 'Cowboy Bebop.'
Here is everything you need to know about 'Cowboy Bebop' live-action, including release date, plot, cast, and more.
'Cowboy Bebop' will release on Netflix on Friday 19th November 2021.
It will be available for all Netflix subscribers worldwide.
The series was supposed to release last year but got delayed after John Cho injured his knee on the set.
The injury delayed the production by eight months. They eventually managed to wrap filming in March 2021.

'Cowboy Bebop' is based on the popular anime series of the same name that ran from 1998 to 1999 for 26 episodes.
The series follows a scruffy group of bounty hunters who earns a living by hunting the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy.
It is still unknown how faithful the upcoming live-action adaptation will be from the source material.
In the past, Netflix received numerous backlash for "butchering" classic animes with live-action adaptations that do not bear the spirit of the original anime.
However, we have high hopes for 'Cowboy Bebop' as the original director, Shinichirō Watanabe is a consultant for the live-action series.
Yoko Kanno, the original composer of the anime series, is also on board on the live-action project. He will be providing the musical score for the Netflix live-action show.
Nonetheless, don't expect the Netflix series to be an episode-per-episode remake of the anime.
“We’re not going to go one-to-one on all of those stories because we’re also trying to tell the broader story of Spike Spiegel and the Syndicate, Spike Spiegel and Julia, Spike Spiegel and Vicious, and all that,” Javier Grillo-Marxuach said in a statement via Gizmodo.
“But we are looking at the show and saying, ‘Who are some of the great villains in this show, and how can we put them into this broader narrative?’ So that we are telling both of the big stories that Cowboy Bebop tells."
Here is the official cast list for 'Cowboy Bebop: Live Action.'

Mustafa Shakir plays Jet Black, a former policeman turned bounty hunter with a cybernetic arm.
