For those who loved shows like Survival, Man Vs. Wild, and Lost, there is a new show coming to Netflix that might tickle your fancy. And for those who loved the latest Scream (2022) film, Melissa Barrera, who starred in the film as Sam Carpenter will be the star of this series.

This Netflix show is titled Keep Breathing and is a survival drama series. It is slated as a limited series and was initially titled just Breathe. It has been in the works for a little over a year and with the release right around the corner, here's what you need to know about the show:
The logline of the show was released by Netflix and it reads: "After her private plane crashes in the remote Canadian frontier, lone survivor and New York lawyer, Liv (Barrera), must battle both an unforgiving wilderness and past personal traumas to stay alive." The show is set to have only six episodes that are expected to be an hour long.

In addition to Barrera who will be playing the lead role, we will also see Jeff Wilbusch as Danny Liv's on-again, off-again love interest, Florencia Lozano as Liv's mother, and Juan Pablo Espinosa as Liv's father. We will also see Austin Stowell (Love and Honor, Whiplash) in an undisclosed role.

The show was created by Martin Gero and Brendan Gall, with the duo writing it along with Iturri Sosa. Gero and Gall previously collaborated on the NBC drama series Blindspot. Maggie Kiley (Ep 1-3) and Rebecca Rodriguez (Ep 4-6) directed the shows, as per Bloody Disgusting. Gero and Gall also serve as the executive producers along with Kiley.
The show was confirmed by Netflix in February 2021. Filming for the show began on June 28, 2021, in Vancouver, and wrapped on September 20, 2021. The show is set to premiere on Netflix on July 28, 2022. A trailer has not yet been released yet but Netflix has shared some intriguing stills from the show that you can see here:
