We are pretty sure that Ncuti Gatwa is saying goodbye to Sex Education and his character Eric. Sex Education is currently shooting for its fourth season. However, the cast of the show is seeing drastic changes as many are leaving the show due to other commitments. Simone Ashley's Olivia Hanan, Tanya Reynolds' Lily Iglehart, Patricia Allison's Ola Nyman, and Rakhee Thakrar's teacher Emily Sands all leave the show.

Doctor Who star Gatwa also posted a picture of his trailer door and captioned the photo,

"Last day. Last time. Bye bubs, thank you for all the lessons and for all the strength."

His co-star Aimee Lou Wood, who plays Aimee Gibbs on the show, was among many people who felt the same she wrote "My heart hurts badly."

Gatwa is moving on to bigger things in life and while this is how given his big break he can't wait to impress the audience with his dynamic range of acting. He will be seen as the iconic Doctor Who alongside Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. They were spotted on the set in Cardiff very recently with photos floating on social media that made it pretty clear that they were filming.

Asa Butterfield dropped a few hints on what to expect from Sex Education Season 4,

"I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to tease, but we're in the new school, new locations, and things have changed up a bit. And we've got some new characters."

Butterfield who is known to play the protagonist Otis continued,

"The show's definitely sort of evolved somewhat, but it's still got the core team involved and it's been fun.

"I mean, we all know each other so well at this point, so it's a great time and it's a laugh."

We also have no confirmation about how many episodes Gatwa will be seen in, we hope he will be a part of the whole season. Only time will tell!

Despite the loss of so many beloved cast members, we still look forward to what will go down in the fourth season of Sex Education as it still remains one of the most talked about dramedies of our time and we can't wait for it to land on Netflix.

If you're living under a rock and haven't watched it yet, here's y our chance to catch up so that you can enjoy the fourth season with the rest of the world when it drops...
